国家级人才,IEEE高级会员,IEEE多个会议和期刊审稿人,Sigma Xi会员,中国电工技术学会高级会员。华中科技大学教授、博导,现任校学位评定委员会委员,强电磁工程与新技术国家重点实验室副主任,电机及控制工程系主任,新型电机国家地方联合工程研究中心主任,创新电机技术研究中心主任。

19931996年分获清华大学学士、硕士学位。2002年获美国威斯康辛大学麦迪逊分校博士学位。博士毕业后,任美国通用电气公司(GE)全球研发中心总部高级专业工程师。2010年全职回国加入华中科技大学。

20119月成立创新电机技术研究中心,中心定位于基础和应用研究,立足国际科技前沿,以满足国家重大战略需求为出发点,以培养具有创新精神、实践能力、全面发展的高层次人才为目标,力争在电机设计和驱动控制技术方面成为世界一流的科技创新研究平台。

[1]       机器人等高端装备用伺服电机数字化车间(工信部智能制造综合标准化和新模式应用项目)150万元,项目负责人。

[2]       国家自然科学基金国际合作项目:游标永磁直线伺服电机系统研究。289万元,项目负责人。

[3]       国家自然科学基金重点项目:磁场调制永磁电机系统基础理论及应用技术研究。300万元,项目负责人。
